A CHAMBERLAIN Countryman 6 tractor powered by a 6 cylinder 75 hp diesel engine pulls a Chamberlain Mk II, 24 tyne scarifier on the property of Mr. R. D. Painter at Wagin, WA.
Operating speed on this job is about 3 miles per hour with the scarifier digging to a depth of 7 in.
Mr. Painter, a wheat farmer, owned in 1951, one of the original 40K model Chamberlain kerosene tractors.
